WHAT IS

A JUNIOR ENTERPRISE

A Junior Enterprise is a no-profit and apolitical organisation, created and fully managed by university students, with the purpose of providing services to companies, institutions and individuals.

A Junior Enterprise operates in a similar fashion to a real company, ensuring fresh and innovative solutions to address customers’ needs.

By following the principle of Learning by Doing, each Junior Entrepreneur is guaranteed a constant professional training. Inhouse training, business software, workshops and educational events are covered entirely through the proceeds of the services we offer.

The chance of being part of an Italian, European and worldwide dense network is also fundamental to encourage the exchange of experience and knowledge.

OUR

HISTORY

JEToP was born in 1995 becoming the third Junior Enterprise founded in Italy.
During the first years of activity, the association focuses on organising the Carriera&Futuro job fair.
In 2015 and in 2016, JEToP organises Wearable Tech Torino, the first European exhibition about wearable technology.
From 2016 up to now, the Junior Enterprise reorganises as a Web Agency with its core business being Software Development.

TORINO OGGI

The making of projects for large companies leads JEToP to perfectly embody the role of the Junior Enterprise, i.e. allowing its members to put themselves to the test by collaborating in a young environment and pursuing an ultimate goal. JEToP's aim is to enrich the student with skills and experience, who will find it easier to undertake the career path.

LA STAMPA TECNOLOGIA

The race to build wearable technology in Turin. Organised by JeTop, the students of the Politecnico with a dot for computer science, the event consists of three phases, which lead to the exhibition of the work and the meeting with brands and experts in the field.

LA REPUBBLICA TORINO

The first wearable technology exhibition was awarded as the best European project of the international Junior Enterprise network. The Wtt was organised by Jetop formed by 63 students of Politecnico di Torino [...].

STARTUP INNOVATIVE

JEToP has many years of experience in IT, HR consulting, events organisation, marketing. All this thanks to a young team of engineering students, who bring technical expertise and creativity at the same time. The management of the projects is always supervised by the managers and/or the Board of Directors, who always have at least two years of experience in the Junior. This ensures the complete support of the professional/company, and the optimal success of the project.

OPEN INNOVATION

[...] the Intervieweb project also starts from his university years. In 2003, to be precise, when Matteo Cocciardo is a student of Management Engineering at the Politecnico and attends JEToP, a non-profit association run by students that brings together university and working environments. . "It was precisely this experience that allowed me to get in touch with the world of recruiting and with the services that companies had available in the search and selection of candidates".

VISION

As a Junior Enterprise we aim at making each associate a Junior Entrepreneur and to ensure that the experience gained in JEToP is acknowledged as an added and qualifying value in both the academia and the line of work.
